It is able to turn your manual Leica M lens into an autofocus lens and use it under the Sony A72 / A7r2 / A7r3 / A9 / A6300 / A6500 cameras. You can now use your favorite Leica lenses for taking snap shots, motion pictures or candid photos.
Techart Pro adapter also improve the close focusing ability of your lens. It serves the same function as the helicoid or close-focus adapter in the market which shorten the closest focusing distance of your lens. It overcomes the limitation of most Leica M lenses which does not allow to shoot very close.
Techart Pro adapter is highly compatible. You may also further adapt other lens mounts with longer flange distance like Leica R or Conta C/Y mount to Techart PRO adapter so that these lenses can also be vitalized. How to install the adapter:
Align the white index on the adapter with the white index on the camera, rotate the adapter clock wisely until it locks with the camera.
Align the red index on the lens barrel with the red index on the adapter, then insert the lens into the adapter and rotate clock wisely until it locks.
Please make sure keep the power of the camera body off when installing the adapter or lens.
Do not press the release button when installing the lens with the adapter, otherwise the lens or adapter may not lock properly.
