With FD-NEX adapter, although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm,auto-focusing,or any other functions will not work.You can shoot with manual mode with Sony NEX Camera cameras.
The principle of the SpeedEnhancer II Adapter
The Popular Micro-Single-Camera usually has a CMOS which is APS-C format, about 25x17 mm, while the full-frame camera CMOS is around 36x24 mm. This makes the Micro-Single-Camera can not get the same perspective as a full-frame camera when adapt a full-frame lens. Which is what we usually refer to the focal length multipliedby a conversion factor (typically 1.5). Thus it will affect taking fine pictures. In our newly developed SPEEDENHANCER II adapters, we add a set of lens elements between the lens and camera, which is professionally designed and of pre-cision maching. So that the image field of a full-frame lens can be reduced to 72% of the original, while does not change the perspective of the original lens. Which will make an micro-single-camra getting the same information as a full-frame camra, also get nearly the same shooting effect as the expensive full-frame camera. Besides, due to the reduction the lens image field, thelightis more concentrated, so that you can use a higher shutter speeds at the same aperture.
New design!Compared with Lens Turbo I,there are three Provements:
1.Redesign the lens construction
The newest construction with 4 elements in 3 groups,which included 2 pieces of Lanthanide lens Effectively reduce the dispersion and improve the edge quality obviously.
2.Improve coatings
Use the lastest formula coatings,reduce the lights which caused by the interreflection between the lens to solve the problem.
3.The end of lens change the shape with square
This design make the whole construction closer to the CMOS to improve the image quality.
